The size and quality of the 2018 crop are both in the average range. Although raw
material prices are stable, volatility of the Turkish Lira continues to complicate the
market. As a result most packers are hesitant to make long offers. Most business is
being done back to back on a quarterly or half yearly basis. Some European retailers
have had to adapt to this new reality.
